What is Giraffy Fresh Food?
Giraffy is a food delivery service. It works the same like pizza delivery but we have a different offer. At Giraffy you can order sandwiches, panini (grilled baguettes), microwave dishes, salads, deserts and fresh juices.
Where is Giraffy?
Giraffy is situated close to the centre of Brno from where we deliver in the whole town. It is not possible to buy your food in this location but why should you? We deliver wherever you want!
How can I order?
You can order by phone (+420 545 22 44 44), we speak English. If you manage to go through a Czech language registration you can also order online from our e-shop. You can also just write an email in English to info@giraffy.cz.
When can I order food from Giraffy?
From Monday till saturday you can order between 10:00 and 20:00.
When will I get my order?
We start to deliver the orders every day at 10:00. Most of the orders (+/- 90%) are delivered within 1 hour. It can happen that it takes more than 1 hour in case of big orders (we prepare everything fresh), in the lunch peak (between 11:00 and 13:00) or in case of extraordinairy traffic jams (reconstructions, heavy snow, ...).
Can you deliver breakfast?
Yes we can! But only for bigger groups and if ordered at least the day before.
How is the food packed?
All the products are packed in high quality disposable packages which keeps the food in good shape during transport. All packages are developed smart and convenient so you do not need plates, cups or glasses to consume your meal. To save the environment we use as much as possible paper disposables. If you want to save the environment as well you can inform us that you do not need cutlery with your order.
Do you cater bigger groups?
Yes we do! Giraffy is a perfect choise for business meetings, trainings, convestions and parties. Why? Because the products are packed nicely, they are easy to store (in the fridge), they are all labelled and you do not need plates, cups and glasses if you do not have (enough of) them.

How can I pay?
You can pay cash in CZK or you can use all the 4 kinds of meal tickets valid in the Czech Republic. We can not return money if you pay with meal tickets. Companies who order regulary in bigger volumes have the possibility to pay by invoice.
Can I get discount?
Yes off course! Every order comes with bonus points, the discount can get up to 5%!
How works the bonus system?
For every 100CZK you spend in an order you receive 1 bonus point. If you collected 20 points you have a full bonus card which represents the value of 100CZK. You can just use the card for your next order.
What is a Monthly Special (MS)?
Every month we bring new (season)products which are only available that month. Successful items may return in the same season (i.e. potato dishes in winter or Caesar salads in summer). If you want to receive the monthly offers you have registrate or you can write an email to info@giraffy.cz.
Is Giraffy food healthy?
Yes it is! Off course it is a little bit depending on the products you choose and the volumes you consume. But our products are all made of quality ingredients, we use loads of fruits and vegetables and all our portions are well calculated. You can check the values in the product descriptions in the e-shop.
I have allergies, I need to know exactly what is in the product.
No problem, call or write an email with your specific question, we will answer you up to our abilities. But in some cases we are depending on the information we get from our suppliers.
Does Giraffy use food additives?
It's all in the name.. Giraffy Fresh Food uses fresh food. Most of our (half) products (like pesto, sauces and spreadings) we make ourself without using any artificial additives. But some products we buy might contain some additives i.e. ham or some cheeses. But remember we always try to choose the best ingredients for you!
I am vegetarian / vegan, do you have something for me?
Yes we have! Some of our dishes have the small "vegous" logo which tells you that there is no meat in the product. If you have any specific questions do not hesitate to contact us; info@giraffy.
Is Giraffy hygienicly okay?
Yes off course! Giraffy works in a professional kitchen with professional equipment. The production team is wearing special kitchen clothes, caps and they work with plastic gloves. We work with disposable paper sheets and we deliver with passive coolled thermo bags and boxes in order to deliver your meal in the best possible quality. Is Giraffy food suitable for children?
Yes it is! All our products are eaten by children, most popular are off course deserts like Monkey Business or a Strawberry Star, but also the sandwiches and warm meals are very often ordered for the whole family.
Why are sometimes some products not displayed in the e-shop?
Because we sell fresh food, so we really prepare it fresh with fresh ingredients. That means that on busy days some items can be sold out. But the good news is that the next day we have the product again and off course... fresh!
How long can I keep the Giraffy product before consumption?
The products and packages are designed for direct consumption. We guarantee that the product will stay good for 24 hours if you store it in the fridge. The day of production is visable at the sticker on the package. Probably most products have a longer due date than those 24 hours but Giraffy never tested this. Next to that, why should you wait that long, we deliver every day fresh!
